Bloomberg
Up-cycled Chair
When Bloomberg decided to replace their stationery and collateral with a new look, the company's design team recognized an opportunity to create an example of sustainable design.

Their mission to evolve old business cards into a functional and beautiful object to be enjoyed by employees worldwide brought them to MIO.

The result is a stool: sturdy enough to survive office use and elegant enough to contribute to Bloomberg's dynamic environment. The design is a clear and compelling representation of corporate responsibility and creative ingenuity.

Philadelphia Zoo
Re-usable Event Displays
MioCultureLab was engaged by the Philadelphia Zoo during the celebration of Zoobilee (Philadelphia zoo's largest fundraising event) to create a display system for organic food menus and event related information. The result is a series of laser-cut and powder-coated signs to be used with small magnets. The signs make posting new information simple and economical. The resulting product is virtually maintenance free, very attractive and themed around the zoo's many worldwide conservation efforts.

Interactive Service Platforms
MioCultureLab in collaboration with recognized interactive design expert Slavko Milekic MD Ph.D. developed the first content-flexible, gesture-based universal browser available in the market. The system is conceived around a service model that provides organizations of any size access to this valuable technology, avoiding traditional cycles of obsolescence. The stations are available directly from MIO. Request a catalog or more information by contacting us.
