Mioculture.com gathers only the customer information that we need to administer our business,
our security, the security of our customers and members to provide superior products and service.
There are two categories of information we collect about you when you visit our site. The first
type of information we may collect about you is personally identifiable information, such as, your
name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card number. This type of information
may be provided as part of a purchase process and allows us to process and fulfill your order and
notify you of order status. Other examples of when we collect personally identifiable information
are if you subscribe to our newsletter(s).
The second category is non-personally identifiable information. Data such as your IP address, browser
type, domain name, specific web pages through which you click, and files you download are gathered in
order to gain a better understanding of product, service and site development needs and provide an
effective means of security for our website, our customers and members. This data is collected
automatically and utilized in aggregate to help us look for trends so that we can improve our Website
and your user experience.
Mioculture.com does not rent, lease, redistribute or sell customer information to any third party.
In cases of fraud or other types of abuse, we may provide information to regulatory authorities and
law enforcement officials in accordance with applicable law or when we otherwise believe in good
faith that the law requires it.
mioculture.com will maintain practices and procedures designed to ensure the security, integrity and
confidentiality of customer's credit card numbers. We restrict and limit access to customer information only
to those employees who need it to carry out their business functions. When credit card information is transmitted
online, mioculture.com uses industry standard security measures called SSL (secure socket layer encryption).
Mioculture.com does not use cookies. Rather, we uses session variables to keep track of customers activity while
on the site. The most significant differences between the two are that cookies are stored on the users computer,
while the session data is stored on the server. As a result, sessions are more secure than cookies
(no information is being sent back and forth between the client and the server) and sessions work even when
the user has disabled cookies in their browser. After a customer checks out, all session variable data is deleted from
the server.
Mioculture.com may send you e-mails with news, promotional offers and announcements only if you opt-in
to our newsletter upon checkout or sign up for our mailing list.
